Biography

Sarah Stinton was born in 1839 in San Antonio, Texas, during a time of significant change and turmoil in the region. Her early life was marked by hardship, beginning with the death of her father, Robert Stinton, in the Mexican-American War. Raised by her mother, Elizabeth Walter, who struggled to make ends meet, Sarah’s childhood was defined by loss and instability. When Elizabeth succumbed to a laudanum addiction and died of an overdose in 1849, Sarah, at just 10 years old, was taken in by James Doherty, the owner of The Limestone Saloon. There, she worked as a barmaid. As she grew older, she was coerced into prostitution, a grim chapter of her life that began in her teenage years.

At age 20, Sarah’s life took a dramatic turn when she was embraced by Ulrich Schneider, a Malkavian vampire drawn to her unstable yet charismatic nature. Over the following decades, she learned to navigate her new existence, assisting her sire in gaining influence over an existing mining operation that was being established by others and eventually managing his affairs when he departed for California in 1866. However, their relationship soured upon his return in 1880, leading to a confrontation after which Ulrich departed, never to be seen again. The incident left Sarah mentally fractured, haunted by the belief that her sire’s soul remained within her.

Despite her internal struggles, Sarah demonstrated resilience, taking control of her sire's mining operation to build financial independence. She relocated to Dallas in 1942, investing in oil and later diversifying her assets into stocks and bonds. By 1950, she had recruited Benjamin Porter as a trusted aide to manage her growing interests. Over the years, Sarah served as Whip for Clan Malkavian in Dallas and became known for her sharp intellect and resourcefulness.

In 1994, seeking new opportunities, Sarah moved to Houston to establish herself within a rebuilding Camarilla. Her experiences have shaped her into a complex figure, defined by her tragic past, enduring strength, and the lingering shadows of her sire’s influence.
