Jack Kolchak/Introduction
Jack is originally from Friendswood, Texas. His father, Carl Kolchak, was an investigative reporter and his mother, June Macey-Kolchak, was an attorney. His father was always off, traveling the world on investigations which led to his parents divorce when Jack was 7. His mother obtained custody. Jack was raised with high expectations from his mother and did his best to live up to them. Jack graduated high school, then attended Princton and subsequently Harvard Medical School. He graduated magna cum laude. He acquired a residency in Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he specialized in neurosurgical techniques. Soon after that, he obtained a fellowship in the same discipline and same location. He trained with the best and finally became an attending in that particular hospital. His parents were reunited and reconciled their differences. They were still in love with one another after all those years, it was Jack's father's job that split them apart. So they remarried and remained in Friendswood. It was going well for Jack until both his mother and father became ill with a strange chronic debilitating disease. This motivated Jack to return home to Texas in hopes he could take care of them in the family home. He obtained a job at <hospital> and resumed his career. A year later, his parents passed from the unidentified disease. Now that it's been a few years, Jack has established himself as one of the better neurosurgeons in the region.
