Sonja/Introduction
Born in an age where women were encouraged to focus on their needlework and society decorum over all, Sonja was lucky enough to have a father that fully intended to leave his hard-earned empire to his first and only child. While other girls her age were learning how to drink tea and gossip, she was learning the inner workings of her father's ships, how to navigate and how to run the financials of the company. Not many girls could say they've helped fight off a pirate boarding by the time they were seventeen, but Sonja can. She inherited it all when her father passed, and still talks fondly of him to this day. Rather than sit in a boardroom, she worked with her people, protected them and still does to this day. A company is only strong as the employees at the bottom, so while she may be a tough task master she does make sure that their needs are met, their wages are competitive, and their safety seen to.
