Njal is an Ursine Gurahl originally hailing from the Selkirk Mountains around Idaho and parts of Canada. After spending several years assisting conservation efforts in the region and helping to establish the Selkirk Mountains Grizzly Bear Recovery Zone, he felt a calling to the far south. He's somehow ended up in the Sam Houston National Forest area.
