Blackwood Family

Dusk is a member of the Blackwood family. They've been in Houston since Jonathan Blackwood immigrated from the United Kingdom in 1837. They have a lot of history in Houston. A blend of shrewd business acumen, supernatural alliances, and dark secrets marks their legacy. The Blackwoods' influence spans various sectors, from technology to finance, with deep ties to the supernatural underbelly of the city. Their interactions with Mages, Vampires, Changelings, Garou, Demons, and Wraiths have woven a complex tapestry of power and intrigue, giving a good reason to scene with anyone.

The Blackwood Foundation

Dusk's father, Christopher Blackwood, manages the daily affairs of the Blackwood family's philanthropic arm. Dusk has been involved with the charitable process since he was little. From small business development and training, emergency housing, supporting various shelters, and youth outreach, they try to improve Houston a little every day.

Juniper Cross Community Theater Camp

Juniper Cross has a theater camp every year for a few years, and Dusk has returned to mentor the students there since becoming a professional actor. He and his staff try to wrangle the media as well as they can until the performance that happens at the end of the camp.

Shifter

A warrior and diplomat of the Ananasi and aspected to the Wyld, Dusk is eager to do his part. What he lacks in righteous rage, he tries to make up for with a web of connections.

Beyond his family, Dusk has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He modeled in New York City and then had three seasons on a popular television show called Whispers in the Abyss.

His four main revenue streams are: real estate in Houston, New York City, and Los Angeles, financial instruments both domestic and overseas, his income from modeling and acting, and a plethora of restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues in Houston. He's a pretty good guy to talk to if you need a silent-ish partner to open a restaurant, bar, club, or stadium in the city.

Carousing and Blood

Part of being famous is being out there where people can see you, lest they forget. He loves a good party! It's also good cover for when he's feeling a little peckish. He could be competition for other predators as he tries to piece together his safe spots to get a sippy-sip.
